As an empty-nester and single mom, after my son went away to grad school, I looked around my home and did not like what I saw. My son’s things were still in place as if he was just gone for the afternoon when he actually lived three hours away. The art on the wall, which was attractive to me when I first bought it, was full of women with sad, forlorn, or enigmatic faces. The energy felt stagnant. At the same time, after 15 years of not dating, I was ready for love. So I decided to make a change. I cleared the energy in my space and made space for love. And in no time, love found me.
